i have the original window sticker,it has the high sport apperance package,it has the limited edition cluster,i bought the car off a family member who bought it brand new went with him when he purchased it from the dealer,but it has that security problem like the rest.

 

Oh well, you got a great deal then...buying from a family member, that means you know it was maintained, and that is worth a lot all on its own!

 

Thats a great deal. I paid 6k for my 2000 last august, and that had 110k miles.

 

I got my 2000 for 5K with 80K on it and no running problems so you got a hell of ad eal.

 

It sounds like a great deal to me. There is a white 2002 Monte SS with the limited edition on the gauges that a local dealer has and it has almost 82,000 miles and they are asking $8,995 Of course they have had it for awhile but I still think you got a smoking deal plus its a one owner car that you know. Enjoy it.

Good Deal. I paid $12k for my '02 limited in Feb '08... mine was one owner, 28000 miles.
And yes, the limited edition cluster, as far as I can tell, is part of the High Sport package...$2,100 option according to my window sticker. They are the same car as the DE edition... without the 3 paint, embroidered floor mats, and RCR signature cluster.
