Default delay in air an cruise

I don't know if any of you have had this problem, but it has me puzzled. lately i have noticed that when i turn on the air/heat in my 2001 ls it takes a couple minutes for it to kick on. And when it does finally turn on the light on my steering wheel for the cruise control lights up. Other times i have tried to use the cruise control it would not work. Any one have any ideas of what the problem could be?

Sounds to me like a Vacuum problem for sure. Check all your vacuum lines under the hood!

possibly could be the blower motor resistor as well

For sure! But cruise is also affected by vacuum... So if they are both having a problem at the same time, that would be my best guess..
