Default default heater control?

something i've been meaning to ask here since i joined...

anyone know if there is any way to change the default heater setting from "external" to "internal"? my brain is blanking on the actual technical terms for them.

the buttons, there in the bottom left hand corner.

it is not a huge deal and just a minor annoyance to me, but i always like to have it on internal.

Once it's switched to internal won't it stay that way till it's switched back?

yeah. but my intention is to not have to switch it in the first place. it blows more air when its on internal, and sometimes in the morning, half asleep, i forget to switch it and i freeze (or fry, depending on the season) longer than need be. like i said it's not a big deal but i just thought it was weird.

I was the same way with the fog lights. I liked how I could leave them switched on in my Grand Am.

The internal/external air thing was done for safety reasons.

isn't it bad to constantly use the recirculated air for long periods of time?

I only use the recirculate (the button on the right below the fan control) in the summer time when I want the air conditioner to cool off fast.
