OK everyone I bought my monte in july and it was keyed all over and had major mechanical issues. Im happy to announce that I am about 90% complete with it. All I have left to do is upgrade my rims and tires.

Wow! Amazing job at giving your Monte the TLC it needed to be a head turner!!

 

The new paint is a huge improvement (I like the original blue, but that paint was heavily abused).

Decals look nice.

Are you going for a Dale Earnhardt "tribute" car by throwing Intimidator decals with the clone pace car decals?

Before I even started having the outside fixed I had a lot to do with the internals. As soon as I got it home I had to change the calaytic converter, 02 sensor, did new tires, tire rod ends, crank shaft seal, motor mounts, rack and pinion. And just a couple weeks ago I had to replace a trailing arm. So its been a costly trip but well worth it.

 

Dang that looks good! What did that paint job cost you? The body shop that red is in estimated $600 to fix this
