Crashed my Monte!
How did that truck manage to hit a deer with its windshield?
Deer are tough, but the trick is, a deer is classified as a "dumb animal", and if you hit a deer, you can prove through damage a deer did it. If you turn up in a ditch, the cops can give you citations for speed, reckless driving, failure to maintain control of your vehicle, etc. Sometimes it's better to just nail a deer.

I also have fell victim to a deer hitting me also, thats why my fender has been banged up for a while.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. The guy at the collision center said that he was 99% sure that the car was totaled as it rolled up on the tow truck. Said there was quite a bit of undercarriage damage. Wasn't much more detailed than that. Still awaiting an official word so not all is lost yet. I'm just concerned that if the frame is bent or something like that and it goes unnoticed that I may run into major problems down the line.
