The most expensive glass on the 06 Monte is the quarter glass. It cost over $800 to replace and that is not covered under full replacement cost like the front glass. $500 out of pocket for deductable. The quarter glass is a modular unit is the reason for the high cost, you just cant replace the glass.

 

The windshield on my car was $695, the dealer paid for it, it was leaking really bad, and had to be fixed, cause someone botched it before. Its all good now, Like the day it rolled off the line. They just had to order the windshield incase it broke when they were removing it, luckily it didnt break and they just ahd to reset it, which cost $95, once again the dealer paid. But I thought that was pricey as heck for a windshield!

 

Sheesh! That's nuts! Imma buy me some junkyard quarter glass just incase!
