Default Couple of questions

I was reading in the how to section about cabin filters, does every 2001 have one? Also is a 2001 a 5th or 6th gen.? Thanks in advance.

The Cabin Air Filter is pretty easy to replace.
You remove the Plastic Cowling from under the passenger-side windshield wiper.
There are a couple of Plastic Fasteners to release.
Once the Cowl is removed; the Filter is easily accessed.
The Plastic Fasteners are easily replaced by visiting a AutoBody Supply Store.

People would be surprised how disgustingly dirty the cabin filter is, if it's never been changed. Especially since most people don't know they have one.

I put my filter in this morning and on the box the filter came in they say change every 15000 miles but hey they want to sell filters. I would think every 50,000 Our car had 94,000 and this was the first filter change but it needed it.
