It is in the fuse box on the passenger side of the car.

IIRC the passenger side fuse is for the cig lighter. The driver side fuse is for the cig/aux which is the outlet on the back of the console.

I need to check this out on my Monte, just been hurt...

I had a slow leak in one of my tires so would use a slime pump to air up the tire and first the front plug went out and now the rear...

I'm not so sure my issue is with the fuse tho as I have my stereo run to the front cig/aux fuse and it still works...

Should I check the passenger side first? I guess I could do it instead of asking...

Personally...
I would have hooked up the radio to the ignition aux fuse...

It may just be if the fuse is good..the cig lighter socket just maybe burnt out.. There super easy to replace.. after 12 yrs mine finally crapped out..it was a 5 minute job..

To be honest, I didn't notice that crap till this year after looking over the fuses for the cig socket...I paid to have it done (YEARS AGO) and it was done like I had never seen before. ugh.
I'll have to get it that corrected as well.

I'll look into what all entails replacing the socket itself after I recheck the fuses (passenger side and driver again).
Thanks for the tips!
