Wikipedia says that total prodcution of these years montes totalled at 379,439.

Does that sound correct? Doesn't that mean that these year cars are rare?

I wouldn't really call it rare. Rare is production numbers in the 4-digit marks.

idk thats total monte carlos that doesnt break down to trim levels and colors. you have to take into account that a majority would be ls or other trims. i think rare is in the eye of the beholder. im sure that supercharged ones with maybe something weird like cloth interiors and no sunroof in a weird color with the silver ground effects and stuff like that would be more rare. i know they didnt make many 06-07ss so im sure a cloth interior one without a sunroof in laser blue or what not would be rare. i dont think mine is rare at all though black interior, leather, victory red, sun roof, but no side airbags or heated mirrors and only driver power seat.

I agree with the four digit coment, I have been trying to obtain the numbers of the 06's and 7's but have had no luck.
