Default CAR OF TOMORROW REPLICA

I think it could be done and not too hard to do,

An idea just came across to me, the Nascar COT is a 2 door impala, but if you modified a new monte carlo you could get the COT Look.

The hood and headlights are the same, the inside is basically the same from impala to monte carlo, the only difference is the front bumber and rear bumper and rear tail lights.

If you got the rear bumper from the website thats makes the replica nascar body kits then you would have the rear and you would have to custom fab the front bumper and if you cold change out the tail lights in the monte carlo to the impala tail lightseither by shaving and bondo you could get close to the COT look.

I think it could be done combining some of the impala features with the monte carlo to have the 2 door new nascar look, also you have to try to find a spoiler that looks real similar to the COT.

It be a fun project and a cool replica, espeacially if you make it a nascar looking car.

Thanks 88SS

I wasn't planning on doing it to mine, But I know someone could pull it off if they wanted too.

I would love to have a new 88 amp race car in my garage.

does the newer monte have the trunk bump for the 3rd light?

would screw up the look of that raised spoiler.

Yes, it's there.

Cause I hate the look of any '00-07 Monte with no rear spoiler. It just looks un-natural.

I was figuring I'll do up an Impala COT in a few years when the Budweiser Chevrolet is paid for and my '98 Regal GS is all used up. And you know I will do this. I don't know how good it will look, but we're gonna find out. Haven't chosen a paint scheme, but we got time
