Default caliper painting. looks awesome

ok so i used that caliper painting kit that i used on my aleor, only i used two colors this time. i got creative. i def. recommend this kit to everyone who paints their calipers. its a lot easier then spray paint cuz u brush it on and its thick. i did about 8 coats. lol just make sure u clear coat it so its wet looking

final product. painted the brake pad backing and brace black and the caliper red

what is the name of the kit that you used? they have some over here but i was not sure it was the right stuff do to it being in all german LOL

also do you have a shot of the alt?
I would like to paint mine and the thremostat houseing on my car but wanted somethign that will stay on them.
this cal. paint is high temp so it should hold up t the heat under the hood to.

I used that same stuff, I think it's made by dupont..

Ceramic coating too which makes for a very nice product that last damn near forever. I painted the entire caliper area on my monte including the brackets.

Just remember to apply sever thin coats till you get the desired effect.

I stand corrected, the set was made by Duplicolor.

But, after a review of kissmyss's thread on another forum it seems that the better kit is made by G2...

Oh wow, I didn't know they made a brush on kit for the calipers. I was planning on removing the calipers and spraying em but I guess I won't have to do that now. Only thing is deciding what color to go with. Decisions, decisions.

I helped a friend of mine paint his calipers, and he used the Duplicolor Caliper Paint. it deffinitely looked pretty nice, but as of now, he got some fluid on the paint job and it just eats that stuff up, so its starting to fade, I'm going to have to check out the G2.
