Default Buying a 4th gen monte

Hey guys, I've still haven't found the monte I'm looking for. I've looked at the 200-2004 monte SS but im still looking for an 80's 4th gen. My work, gym, and everything local is within ten minutes so gas isnt too much of an issue so I am deffinately decided on a 4th gen. Any tips in particular i should look out for? common problems to check before handing over the check? I want to take a look at some asap. Im from mass if anyone here is selling one. Budget is around 3,000
