BudsJLM's 84 MC thread,
Well after some time I finially getting some work done, pulled it out if my parents heap of a garage, cut the cage out, mounted the passenger door and towed it to my place, since being there I chopped stock from springs and put them in, painted the inside out my steering components in there ,
my buddy decided he wanted a stupid amount of money for stuff he originally going to throw in on the deal, so rotors, calipers, other odds n ends I pulled off the car and looks like she's staying a let for a while, he all of a sudden wanted an extra $300 for the front end which in that condition not worth it...
I'll post pics tonight

What it looked like when i got to my parents house,

i have been over there many times thinking i could get some work done one it only to find more **** on top of it... was very discouraging and half the time would kill my motivation right there
so un**** heaped it and pulled it to the driveway.

cut the cage out and wrestled the 80lb door out of the rafters on an old wood latter that just about broke while i was doing it . but got it out and onto the car

, i still have to bring it over there again and cut out a few nubs of cage i couldnt get with the sawzall and the drag seat mount he had put in there
tossed the front bumper on and towed it to my house

Before int paint

and after

i decided until i get to the suspention upgrade portion of my build which will likely be after it is running and driving i am chopping the springs to get it a bit lower, its just a short term solution

the pic ic only one coil cut i actually ended up doing like 1.75 coil
eventually 2in drop spindles and 1 in drop springs up front and 2in a body drop springs in the rear which on g body is a 3in drop
me standing on the bumper to get somwhat of an idea of what it will look like when the motor is in there

and sitting on it lol

Little Brother meet Big brother

this makes me giggle tho i still have the tow bar on it and with the cover on it looks like it's pitching a tent lol

i am hoping to start getting the wiring squared away this weekend, trying to find stuff me n my son can do together on it
