BudsJLM's 84 MC thread,
Start off with a short story.. understandable if you skip it!
My budy Rick night his first 84 probably 8 years ago for 3 or 4 hundred, being 16 not knowing a ton bought a verry rusted out one, and as we tugged and looked at stuff the worse we realized it was, the body was beyond repair, floor pans gone, a pilars rusted out under the door hinges, but frame was minty and what we thought where SS wheels, turns put they are very rare 14x7 80-81 camaro wheels,
He later purchase another 84 for $500, sc but had SS front bumper and was a splits body, still needed some work but a lot less than the original 84, frame was toast in a few spots,
So stripped down both cars put the good 84 frame under the good 84 body and we took the other one to the scrapper, he has since fixed any and all rust, put a 8 point cage in it, all ploy mounts,
The time had come where he was told it need to go, once it left the garage it was not to come back, so today I picked it up, I chopped up my 85 to make way for this one,
I have to do some more work, price it back together and such, I will update this thread as I go, I will post up more pics and info tomarow when I'm not on my phone

Well here are more pics
Had to get his sister firebird and cavi out of the way and his dad's 68 charger so we could move it
Tossed 2 of my wheels on it so it will roll nicely!
You can see i need to finish that patch panel but i have it,
Got the tow bar straped on, re organized and strapped the fenders on the inside
In it's new home (i need to reogranize....)
not my place so i can't just toss stuff, it's my parents garage...
True ss Tails, ss spoiler!
I Sprayed some primer on the bare spots tossed on my rust free driver door and the fenders

Stainless steel brake company, stainles slotted rotors, with new bearings, brand new pads and calipers,
Got the garage cleaned up a little more, moved the car over
Tossed her up on jack stands as well
