Default Brakes

Hey guys,
My brakes are starting to grab real bad when I'm braking, so I'm assuming my rotors are starting to warp. . .would it be possible to just get them turned or should I be safe and replace the rotors completely? Also, if I have to replace them I want to get performance rotors. . .does anyone know where I can get slotted/drilled rotors or slotted rotors for a 2000 LS front/rear for under 250? I'm a bit hesitant about buying off ebay because I don't know if they will fit, and how good those are. . .if anyone has bought any or know for sure where I can get some good ones please let me know. I have a big trip to the coast coming up in 2 weeks and I'd like to get my brakes fixed so I don't risk anything.
Thanks guys,
Brian

its not worth it to turn rotors anymore..especially when you can get a quality one that will last about 2-3 years for about 30 bucks or less most of the time...

cheapest place to buy slotted rotors is always going to be ebay, thats where 2000blackss got his..and his seem to be really good ...and look awesome on his monte...

for the pads i would go with raybestos pgd699c or for 20bucks more go for the pgd699qs for the front

the number for the year is pgd698c or pgd698qs, the qs's are fully ceramic so no brake dust...the c's are oe ceramic...so very little brake dust but there's still going to be a little

Is there any difference in rotor size or application between the SS and the LS? I see some nice ones on Ebay but I'm hesitant because I want to make sure they fit before I spend that much money. . .

maybe you can contact the person and see if he takes returns if they dont fit

but no ...there's no difference in brakes on the monte's...whether its an ls, or an ss they're all the same
