Does anybody else get horrible brake dust or is it just me?
I have seen some brake dust shields but I am looking to get some 20 inch wheels and can't find brake dust shields in that size. Any help?

Thanks,
Steven

when i got my car it had carbon metallic pads and they stop great but put out an extreme amount of dust. Just do what I did and put some ceramic pads on and your prblems will disappear

Raybestos make these brake pads that create "invisible" dust... i talked to people with them, and the ysay they wuldn't take anything for them.

There's also products out to help keep brake dust off your wheels.

One I can think of is made/sold by Mother's. It's kind of like a wax you apply to the wheels when wipe off after drying.

Cool. I'll have to take a look for that. The front brake pads were just replaced three months ago, and are also putting out a lot of brake dust. Even though most of the wheel is mostly black, I can still see the difference between the front and back wheels.

The chrome wheels on my old car used to show every spec of brake dust, and were hard to clean too.

Thanks.

I'm going to have to get the rims completely cleaned and polished when I change tires in the spring. I'll prob goto ceramic pads as well because these stock pads are horrible for dust.
