when it warms up i'm gonna put tint on my reverse lights and tails. that way i can take it off if i don't like it. gonna definitely paint my reverse light. first i gotta get leds all leds.

 

i thought the thrid break lghts were LED standard, mine is led and i didn't upgrade. guess thats just from '00 to '05. 06 and up must have bulbs.

and yes i just took it out and tinted it with transparent black base and clear coat. though im in a bodyshop so VHT or something similar would be what you need..

i did have it painted silver a while back and taped off the outer circle that is just by the foam seal that fit around the cutout in the trunk. it kinda made it an oval circle break light and dark in the middle. just another option for you

 

Nope. They're LEDs too. Same 3rd brake light is used.
