You don't like it? I would have done ANYTHING to get rid of the big ugly gold bow tie. I mean I would have kept it perhaps if it was more like the little red bowtie on the SLP grilles....

No,it has to be incredibly large and gaudy...

I dunno, I like my grille, and I think I would like it better if I polished the edges, but I dun wanna start that again, I got some stainless tips all polished up (hours and hours of work) and still don't have them on because they're too thin to tap, and I don't want to have them welded on, so if I need to re-polish them later I can take em off the car.

Plus, since I'm planning some exhaust mods, this way I can re-use them later on if I want, without needing to have them rewelded.

I mean, No offense Big_Mecho, butI think mesh is overdone lately. I think it's an improvement, sure, but it still looks somewhat stock with the logo and the chrome trim.

Plus a silver vehicle versus a black one, the same mod is going to look good on one, and look like heck on another. Unless you were murdering out the ss, a black grille wouldn't look good on a black car.
Like a silver grille wouldn't look good on a silver car.

I would just get the upper one billet, and forget the three bottom ones.

Hey Dan, where did you find the grille? Idon't remember seeing it onebay, or anywhere in the aftermarket I can remember.

I had hoped mine was a tighter pattern like the one in that pic, but actually the more "blades" it gets, the less it looks like an actual grille once you're looking down on it, Sure looking straight at it looks great, but past that? 'eh'

Plus I've been considering some EL-wire to go in the grille when I get the car appearance finished to really give it a mean look, and the looser spacing of the grille I got will work much better with the EL-wire.
