You can change the limiter with a tuner, such as HP tuners... Or you could get a tuned PCM from a vendor like ZZP, Intense, Overkill, Milzy.
That being said, you're not gonna go too much faster without a long straight road, and go ahead and start saving up for a new transmission.

Keep in mind, you are still limited by the mechanical potential of the car.
