6th Gen ('00-'05): BCM issues
Hey guys, I'm working on my buddy's 2004 Monte Carlo.
I get in it, no crank, the battery light, the low fuel light, security light, service engine soon light came on.
I test the starter motor, it works. I check the fuel pressure, nothing.
My research until this point told me it was a BCM issue. I replace the BCM with some refurbished unit on Ebay. I do the "30 minute learn procedure" with the key. The security light is now off, however the rest of the lights are still on. (Battery, service engine fuel).
The car still won't crank. I tried manually energizing the starter relay. Still works. I tried manually energizing the fuel pump relay, no pressure in the rail.
What do you guys suspect the culprit could be? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
