Just a lowly 27 year old...

 

Tad, I should but those guys scare me. Although I had to have 2 stents put in, I did not have a heart attach. They did not find the cause of the pain in my chest. Even after the stents I still suffer from the same pain, although not as frequently. let's just say that I can no longer do the things "Boys and Girls" do without having pain. But, I go to work and Toss 40 and 50 lb. boxes around when my shop is slow. You know I work on my car all the time. I'm tired of getting no answers from them. And to get the answers I need I would have to take off from work and that is just not possible at this time. So I monitor myself. If I get the pain I know what to do to relieve it. One day I'll go back to the Dr.'s and get this taken care of. Till then I just have to Keep The Faith!!!!

I am 20.

 

I am 38 years old. My hair is pretty much pure white now, so I look older. And right now I feel older than I look. Like JC Colon sez, its the time of day. The end of the work day. I feel much younger when I'm cracking the first beer at the beginning of the game or race.

I think I had an idea of most members ages. I'm actually surprised that turbo monte is only 25 - I missed this. And he's been an active member for quite a while. And his build is deep, requiring knowledge that a 25 year old just can't have yet.

'Space is more socially mature than anybody I've ever met.

They don't build "kids" like these around here...

 

yea I am young, I started racing quads when I was 14yrs old and got the concept of how engines/suspension worked from that. My first build ever was when I was 15yrs old, I did a frame up build on my race quad. I got turbo Monte as a dd when I was 18yrs old and started doing little mods that got into heavy mods about a year later that's when I retired it from a dd and really started building it. I built my own engine, own trans, own suspension, the fiberglass trunk, in all honesty I did everything myself minus paint.

I learned on my own about everything, my dad was always to scared to touch anything but I couldn't afford to have someone do the work I'm barely affording the parts so with a lot of reading and taking pics when I tore something apart and being organized I taught myself everything. No one could teach me because everyone I knew never did it and I never went to school for any of it.

If you put your heart to something and you read the info all over the internet and take your time and know how to hold and turn a wrench anyone can do what I do honestly.

I do get this a lot no one thinks I'm this young because of my knowledge and car but I am lol. I also landed a super awesome job that pays very well to fund all of this and me getting this job was pure luck of "right place at the right time" I only have a high school diploma no college. I consider myself lucky to be honest!

 

Well Space if getting old is a work of art what I do know is that gravity in a certian area is not kind especially on a hot day and sticky car seats. Looks like there is only two here that qualify for the old as dirt trophy chuckle
