Glad to see your windshield replacement was covered, and you got it done quickly.
I can just imagine how ticked off you were when the stones hit.

One good thing is, at least you didn't have any decals on it.

Did they, or you test the seal on it with a garden hose or something?

they said 24 hours before washing/wetting it so the sealant can set so I will be checking it out today after classes...

I was pissed off! I believe the (G-Rated part) vocabulary included something to the effect of "GET MUDFLAPS YOU...!"

I am very glad, though, thatI held off on scheduling my "Intimidator" badging appointment... (next week, now!)
otherwise that would have been $25 and an Intimidator decal wasted...[:-]

sorry about the numerous pics, Space... I tried to warn people in case they preview threads by hovering...THANKS to themod who changed my thread title to include a Dial-Up Warning!

Default THIS does NOT look right... (dial-up be warned!)

This just does NOT look right... what do you all think?
(pics are side by side with their edits so you can see them clean... will change if asked...)

I thought it might just be because of the sealant not being set but there's been no change... it still looks distorted to me. I tested it against leaks today... no drips! But I think I will have to head over to the shop before I install my decal and ask the "expert"...

Looks to me like a defective windshield. Did you just have it installed or is that the factory one? If it was installed I would get the installer to give you a new one.

Edit: Never mind, I saw the rest of the thread. I would definately talk to the installer and tell them that you arent happy with the work.

I have to admit, when I saw your pics, I had to go look at the cars we have here. You're right. That doesn't look right at all.

I would definitely tell the installer that you're not happy with it.
