Was (or is) there more then one plant producing Montes? I thought they were all produced in Canada?
I have to agree on the crack smokin people at GM. It makes little sense some of the things they've done. Not only how the business has been run, but things they did (or didn't) do to cars, truck, SUVs.
I do have to agree the red bow tie on a black Monte is nice. I sure like the look.

The car u rented might have been one of the first of the 06's if not late 05,
Chevy changed from the redbowtie to the gold at the end of 05.
I still think the Red bowtie should be left only for the SS's,
They should have kept the blue for base model, gold for the lux model, red for the SS
AND HERE IS A QUESTION....... WHY THE WHITE SS's on the 06 and 07's.......
