Well, I don't know the *proper* way to do it, but the previous owner just cut all the wires for ABS and Trac Control. As he had replaced both front hubs.
The car would begin to apply the breaks, as if it were losing traction as he would turn to get onto the highway, which almost caused him to get into many wrecks. he got sick of it, and just chopped the wires.
BUT, unless there is a proper way to do this, I don't recommend it at all!

Did you just replace the front wheel bearings? odds are you need to change one of the rear bearings, they have the abs wheel speed sensors as well.
If you know someone that has access to a obd II reader get the codes read and you will know which bearing needs to be replaced.
