6th Gen ('00-'05): anti locking break censor trx control
trax control in turning on and off without a reason to do so....i checked the wiring at the hub for a short,,could not fine anything...is their a way to narrow down what is causing this to happen ....thank you
If you have access to a scanner, run it through it's paces and see which wheel is coming up with the code.
Sometimes the wires themselves become brittle and break over time, which happened on my car and you can buy replacements on ebay and they are cheap.
Odds are you require a new wheel bearing they are quite common to go on our cars, buy a timken, as I believe they are the best replacement out there, but definitely run the codes first so you know if it is the front or rear causing the problem. If you are going to change one, you may as well change both as odds are the other one will go soon enough
