I have been wondering what to do with the embossed "Monte Carlo" on the inside of the door sills on the '06
I decided to paint them white, LOOKS great and contrasts well with the black!

Ok 06blackss now that looks great!! Are you surprised I had something GOOD to say? I wished I could do that to mine but with a white exterior and grey interior it wouldn't show up much with my side sills. I love those sills I'm so glad I got those for mine.

Hey Jason, I like it. Too bad the name doesn't line up with the chevy logo. Still looks good though. By the way, how did you make out with the embroidered headrests??

My 07 just arrived and I added the SS logos (The ones from the trunk deck lid) to the inside door panels. On my 2004 SS, the SS logos were red, the same as the bowtie outline,so I also put the small red SS logos on the inside door panel, just above the armrest, centered in the moulded panel section. Since you changed your trunk logo to the red outline, if you want to carry the "red" theme to the inside, you could do the same. Just another personal touch, which is very subtle but "classy" and IMHO not "Over the top", as some may think. You seem to think like I do, well done,personal upgrades enhance the look.

Ihavehad blackside mouldingadded tothe car. I took the measurements and location placement from my 04, and had it applied in the same place. Again in my opinion I think it looks good. Better than I thought it would since my car is not Black. It blends in very nicely, and now won't worry as much about door dings. I got the mouldings from "Trimline", installed for $140. The dealer wanted about $180 per side for the ones off the 04 models, whichare pretty well dead on the ones from"Trimline".

I intend to post pics of my car as soon as I can get a chance to take some decent ones. I am going to Florida for the month of Feb, and may not get a chance til I get back.

 

Thanks for the kind words, I actually posted a thread about my headrests.. I have a picture there as well, just look through the posts.

I actually have 2 more chevy emblems on order like the one I put on my trunk. They are going behind the "SS" badges on the door. Will look really good I think!
