Hi All:

I just purchased a 2002 SS and noticed an amplifier attached to the ceiling of the trunk. It still has the stock speakers in the rear deck. Does this amplifier come with the car?

On some yes it does, mine came from the factory with an amp between my rear speakers

 

yep, im guessing what you have is the "bose" system on your car. Mine also had it, and, well, for me it gave me a few headaches when I was upgrading my speakers.

Yes, what you have is the Premium Bose upgraded system.

 

Yeap, my model was standard with 200w or upgrade of 600w. I am sure that I have the 200w version.
