looks good. i ran into the same issue with removing the side moldings. still contemplating it..

i got a couple more months before i re-repaint my car again so i think if i do it i'm in between the better welding or just fiberglassing the holes. same with the spoiler. i kinda like mine with out because i'm not going to the beach so why carry a surf board?

silver i can see your point... but if i did get a spoiler i would put the SS style spoiler on the back, because while the pace car one is nice, it kind of looks like something is sticking off my trunk about to fly off. I haven't decided which way I want to go with it yet. I'm still begging my dad to put the side molding back on before someone whomps my quarter panel real good in the parking lot at work.

If you wait out the spoiler option, when (if) I ever find my 06-07 stand-up spoiler to replace mine I could get you my surfboard one for the price to ship (you'd just have to paint it red, which I'm sure your dad could easily help with lol)

THANK YOU MIKE!!!! Check ebay, they have the original pace car spoilers for your model year, i think they're 70 dollars including shipping my dad just bought one for his 2004 SS. Which I have yet to take pictures of. which he says can be my winter car....I'm seriously thinking about making the SS my summer car and cherry my winter car.

A home done paint job? How much did it cost altogether?

When you check ebay, it's hard to find the right spoiler. If I were to get one of the "universal" fits for 00-07 Monte's, they aren't the right ones. I need one specifically made for the 06 or 07 model. IMO it looks A LOT better, and it also uses the same holes as my surfboard. The one that your dad bought, I would need to drill new holes for, and have my old holes filled. Also I'm not a big fan of the look of that one. It's too small. Plus with the 06-07 Montes being new and rarer, it's hard to find someone parting it out :P

LOL and I want my stand-up :P

Eventually I'm sure I will find it... I look once a week, and even keep in touch with Morad if he pulls an 06 or 07 Monte in. :P
