Did you buy your monte black? My buddy told me Maaco paints them for like 400??

I always thought it cost soo much more.

 

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't trust Maaco to paint anything.

Pleeeeasse don't paint it black. The white is so clean. Black is a pita. Also, you will definetly not be happy with a $400 dollar paint job. Especially on a new car that you are changing the color to its exact opposite. I can't even imagine how crappie of a job they woud do for that. i am betting that they wouldn't even paint the door sills or remove the emblems. just a tape and spray job. The best thing is to sell your car and buy a black one.

On a side note, I keep telling myself i will by a silver or a white car. So far i have never owned anything lighter than bermuda blue metallic on my Tahoe. Everything else has been navy or black.
Also, i am a little ocd about my rides and must spend my weekends polishing everything!

 

Well, thats not cool. I guess it would be bad since every chip or scratch would appear white.

I really want it black though so who knows.

In the mean time, can you get the whole center console replaced? I really hate mine, it does not snap shut anymore, and the inside is just one big thing.. no organization haha. I was just curious if they made something for that.

 

Just got my 3rd break Vinyl that says "MONTE CARLO" for the 06 SS!

It looks perfectly fine on the inside, just no center bracket thats all. But yeah, I will take some pics tomorrow.
