So not a lot of people have a 3.9L in their Monte, huh?

Yeah, yeah... Triple post!

So I got even more curious... I found a 2006 LTZ with 24,500 miles on it for a fantastically low price of $12,959. Black on black... Hm. lol

WoW `Ted, that's a super price on a very rare limited production 06 Monte Carlo LTZ...The LTZ with a 3.9L was only produced in 2006
What equipment does it have ? I'd love to be in the position to buy it...I hope that you can test drive it, you will be surprise how well it performs & handles...It has 17 rim's like the ones in my previous post. Keep us updated...

They also sound great with flowmasters : ) & a K&N CAI

Hey there is nothing wrong with mustangs...tbh the mustang is like in my top 5 list of cars (obviously monte would be number 1) i'd dare to say that the mustang is prob my 2nd favorite car.

Shockingly my monte has been getting 33-35 mpg on the highway when i cruise at 62-63 mph on the way home from school...it's crazy but I'm loving it! But then when I get into town it drops to like 20 ughh. & that whole 33-35 mpg thing only happens if its like warmer then 70 degrees outside...it's so bizarre!

Mine's the 3.5L but the 3.9L can't do THAT much worse (probably 1-2 MPG). I've been doing 95% HWY driving and using cruise control set at 72. I've been over 30 MPG for the last 6 tanks full. 30.6-31.7 has been my range of mileage. I've been getting 520-540 miles out of a full tank of gas.

Before when I was driving it harder, faster, and with more like 75% HWY 25% city, I averaged 23-26 just depended on how much WOT I did on the tank. LOL.
