Man, I woulda loved to get my hands on that hood from your Monte!!
I really am not a fan of the Mustangs (I think I have too much Chevy pride in me, between liking/loving my '04 Monte and my '84 Z28, I think I'd have to hand over the keys to both if I got a Mustang)...
May this Mustang keep you as happy (or happier) then the Monte did. I know dropping that top down will DEFINATLEY be a nice feeling you could not get from the Monte.

well, to answer your question blacksheep, the monte was MUCH faster. lol. no question. the torque feels about the same though. its definately a neck snapper. i sold the car so i can basically start a family life. i just felt like i was pouring money in the monte and the only way to control that was to sell it. i could've kept going. i already told myself im only going to change the rear end gears in this car, and probably get it re-upholstered.
im definately a chevy fan still, and i've been a ford fan. I guess that makes me a fan of american cars. as long as its not a honda or toyota im happy.
told the guy i belonged to the forum, but not sure what his plans are. he told me that i pretty much did everything that he ever wanted done to a car, and had no further plans for it but to drive. i guess thats like letting the car go out to pasture, he worked hard for it.

I give you 5 months before that's untrue lol
Well, you'll always be my co-MOTM 2003supersport. Its a strong bond - I feel like my twin brother has died. Which could go either way: Do I feel like have of me is forever lost or can I now step to the fore front as the one who survives?
On a side note, I like smoking in the morning on my day off.
I thought I'd have to give up the BudChev when I knocked my wife up, but we just hung in there. We're going to make it.
I agree with Chibi - this is only a transition of money pits. I give ya 4 mths!

haha Junior, it is a strong bond, it was a fight to the death and we both won. But to answer your fork in the road, just assume my monte died saving another life - your still alive but I'll always be the brother remembered! lol j/p
i tell ya tho, it may be 2011 but my calender is still stuck on january 2010. love seeing my monte in the calender.
