How many miles do you drive in a day? What kind of MPG do you average? When you fill up does the amount you put in correlate to where the gauge is? It could simply be a faulty sender and throwing your gauge off.

How many miles are on the car? When was the last tune-up? Fuel filter change?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I just recently purchased it used and I had an oil change on it. I had the diagnostic test done on it and there were several codes that came up that had to do with electrical. I'm gonna get an estimate soon. There is 114k miles on it and I'm quite sure it needs a tune up it was sold as is. I'm gonna fix this slowly but surely because car payments is for the birds these days. Thanks once again. I'll get those codes deciphered then plan my repair steps

Welcome to the site. Maybe you could start with the basic tune up stuff like plugs, wires and filters then go from there
