Sit in your passenger seat. Look directly at the glove box. Above the glove box is a badge. About 12"X1". At the end of the right side of the badge there is a number. It will have 3 numbers. Regardless if its under 100 it will have 3 numbers. Example 001 014 153 399 etc... The number on the badge is your car's number. You can also find out the built on date. Just skim through some of the past postings. I have a web sight posted so you can find out what date and day it was BORN on. If you want. P.M. me your VIN:# I will get that for you.

Vehicle: MONTE CARLO
Year: 1995
Build Date: 1994-06-27

Now that we have your date we can round about your number. This is the second time I have run across a badge with out a number. The first one was a reproduction/clone. Your B.O.D. shows that it is in fact genuine. Since ALL 400 Pace Cars were produced in June 1994 and unknown but not proven to me that no other Monte Carlo was produced in or before June 1994. I would take an educational/knowledgeable guesse. High 380's. I will double check.

Good thread, I have actually learned quite a bit about the o.p.c montes... I have always loved the 5th gen, I personally have my 2nd z34. The first being a 95 and died protecting me. I have been looking at getting a pace car for cruises and shows, might still when i get the money up...

Also, I would be interested in doing the roof spoiler on my car if I could find one or maybe figure out how to make one myself.

I too would love the roof spoiler (solar spoiler) lights would be sweet. As of now I can not find any. I too am thinking of building a mold/cast for one. I just dont know if there would be a call for as many as it would take to break even. Hopefully I can figure it out this winter. Thanks for the agknowledgement of the thread. Any comment is welcome. Especialy a positive one.

Send a photo of your strip (copper) Gold. See if we can narrow it down.

Really nice pics... I love the pace cars... but instead of putting the front plate in where the insert was, why not just make a custom bracket that comes off the bottom of the car down in front of the grill? I like the insert in there more than anything else.

I agree. I hate the front plate any way! As I know it, and been told. I must use the manufactures bracket. They make us do it on the 4G's too. It stinks.
