How come I never see the Monte Carlo advertised on Chevrolet commercials? I always see the same old Malibu, Impala, Cobalt, SSR, and Silverado. Monte Carlos are good cars too (I think better than the Malibu and Impala). They don't even show them in the background. Is there some sort of agreement or something that says Chevrolet cannot advertise Monte Carlo? If not, I think Chevrolet is crazy for not advertising the Monte Carlo since, I think, it has better looks than the Aveo, Malibu, and Impala and just as good gas mileage and horsepower.

 

I agree, I think that Chevy should do a better job of marketing the Monte Carlo I mean come on, the new one has a V8 in it for petes sake.

 

The reason that you will not see any monte carlos on the commercials is because right now they are advertising all new body styles and or newer version of cars. the monte carlo has been around for a long time and this body style they are using now is also old to the dealership world. now since the 06's have a new front end on them you may as we get close to the year 06 see some monte carlos on their commercials. or should i say see them in the background.

 

I agree that the advertising is poor, but I think at the same time it is pretty cool that Monte Carlos aren't as common on the roads than say...Mustangs!
