1984 Monte Carlo intake manifold question
I have a 1984 Monte Carlo. It is not the SS unfortunately. I want to know if someone could tell me if the stock intake manifold is cast iron or aluminum. I have tried researching it but have not found anything. I do not have the stock one any longer but just need to know if it was cast iron or aluminum. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
I do believe they were cast iron but I am sure other people on the forum will know more positively than I. When I got my 84, someone had already swapped the 305 for a 350 out of a 78 Camaro and it had a cast iron intake manifold. I am getting ready to swap that out for an aluminum Edelbrock RPM Performer dual plane.
LOL see above....David and I must have been composing at the same time!!!
