Default 1973 Monte Carlo - how common is floor shift?

How would your break down what percentage of cars came with floor shift vs column shift? Also if anyone has numbers how many were made with 350 4bbl and floor shift vs all others? Thanks

I did see that before but thanks for posting it. Its very informative but doesnt say about production numbers for various packages. I had a guy tell me that floor shift was very rare in 73 monte carlo so i wanted to check that.

Well they were fairly common back then the 73 was the beginning of the 2nd Generation Monte Carlo, A buddy of mine bought one new and it had the center console and Swivel Bucket seats. It was kind of Big compared to the 70-72, I recall a few guys raced them on dirt as well some were pretty good if the were set up right and were light, they would allow you a bit more control in a Power Slide ( or the Drift as it is called today. They were susceptible to a bunch of Rust but I have seen a few today in fairly good shape. The hoods on them were near 6 to7 feet Long.
If you find one with out the console and a floor shift it would not be from the factory.
