RE: 183.9MPH!!in a monte SS
i would love to know how you come to this, Im puzzeld how to diffrent gps hand helds can come up with the same numbers and it was in my car, i have not done any interal stuff to my car.
but also remeber this was not done on a 1/4 mile track so there was not a restriction to space for the most part.
if they are wrong then so be it but i would like to know how to get a acrate readding of it then because the sppedo is gone at 140. so i have to rely on them past that point.
in short please elaberate more on this.
not arguing just trying to figure it out . i would like to know for my self also. i can only go with what i saw on the hand helds so past that i would be lost for the actual speed

That's deffinitely impressive. I'm not sure whether I want to believe it though. I still have the stock PCM right now, so I am governed to 125 and believe me I have had it there numerous times. When it is there, it has a lot left to go. I don't know if it has another 60 mph in there, but there is deffinitely something left. I am getting the re-programme ECU soon, so I will let you know what I come up with then.

it is a 03.
so cal if your governed at 125 then your car is better then most mine was at 115 in the stock program.
tires are
Size: 225/60ZR16
Yokohama
thoise3 were done right after i got here so they have some wear on them but not much

So far I have had mine up to 135, I was too wigged out to go further due to traffic and not having Z rated tires. But, I will have my Z's I hope by the end of August. Not sure if I'll try topping 183 but my goal is to at least bury the needle.
Of course finding the right road to do this on my be a chore. I am considering a road trip to SEMA this year in Vegas, maybe one of those wide open desert highways would be the safest.

ooooh, SEMA. I've been wanting to go for a while, I'll make it, eventually.
