21 gallon tank at about 12 miles per gallon.

And yes, once again, those were the days that 4 bolt mains were cheap.

Computers are needed to keep the EPA fat and happy.....

If it wasn't for CARB and the EPA and all that.... Most cars would still have carbs, and fuel injection would be known as a "performance upgrade" instead of a programmer being the upgrade. Thankfully a programmer happens to be much cheaper than a whole fuel injection setup, say for something like a small block.

I love finally being able to program the vehicles now. Such a pain in the back in the early 90's not being able to touch them.

I really wish I was able to tune the 87 Camaro too. There was alot more power to be had out of the TPI than I was getting.

That is still insane gas milage if going WOT!!!

I was just watching a story on the Corvettes on how difficult they were to tune. People that could do them could get crazy power out of them, but alot of people opted to have them pulled and go back to a regular carb even though they couldn't get the power gains of the FI.

Could not explain it except that I used to walk to school 30 miles each day in the snow uphill both ways.
