Head out to your local GM dealer and take her for a drive...

For a 3 year 36000 mile warranty, even if there are any problems, which I haven't heard of any, they will be sure to take care of you.

New cars and some used cars actually have the free 100k warranty.

I've only owned mine for a month, but it's got 12K miles on it. So far, I've had no problems at all, and I love it! Two things to keep in mind before you buy:

1. Some don't like the sound when it's in the 4-cylinder mode, including me (although it's not THAT horrible).

2. Don't expect MPG anywhere near what Chevrolet claims. I'm averaging somewhere around 22, and feel very, veryfortunate to be getting that. However, I didn't buy the SS for it's gas mileage.

for a couple of hundred extra bucks you cna get a tuner and turn the DOD off, plus you can make it a little faster.

got just about 39,000 miles on my '06 Monte SS, and no issues whatsoever...

running even stronger since I tuned it and disabled the DOD... and getting better mileage to boot... :-)

X2. I've pretty much heard the same complaints with DOD and MPG.
