1971 BUICK RIVIERA -CUSTOM BUILD-"BOATTAIL" - $19995 (ROCKLEDGE)
<section class="userbody"><section id="postingbody"> Greetings and thanks for checking out this Riviera. My friend that owns this has a one man body shop here in town-RKR PAINT and BODY- and has painted several cars for me in the past. I am listing this for him without any compensation as a favor. I have observed this build over the past year---and it was quite a transformation. The body was brought down to bare metal, any rust issues were welded in with metal. The car received a base clear paint job using PPG products. The entire interior is brand new including carbon fibre treatment on the door cards,,center armrest, and rear center rest---extending to the back window.5 hides were used to complete the leather seats, dash, and door cards.Virtually everything that was plastic inside is now wrapped in leather w/ the subtle red stitching. The Billet steering wheel is new. There is no app for "smelling" a Craigslist ad---but if there was ,you would love the way this interior smells !The exterior door openings are still mechanical---but the door handles were removed for a cleaner look. Speaking of "look" .....or maybe looks.............this car gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. Of course most have no idea what it is............The Riv was lowered, fitted w/18x8's up front and 20x10's in the back. The engine and transmission were removed and gone through..........what needed to be updated for reliability like the belts,. hoses, radiator ,water pump, alt, starter, tie rods, ball joints etc was looked after. The engine bay was cleaned , prepped and painted while the motor was out. The car has completed 700 miles since completion including at Interstate speed with no issues. The A/C is all there but was not serviced. Virtually everything else is working. The owners name is Ray and he is at 1-321-458-4205. In the Summer --he mostly works nights as its cooler here then. I have probably downplayed the appearance of this car to focus on the build---bit I must say in person --it has the WOW factor---and I suspect if anyone comes to look at it will not want to leave empty handed. Last item:: I know a sophisticated person will be considering this who knows that while every effort has been made to present a special item---it is a 42 year old car and as such is offered in as is condition. Thank you again !

Hi Chevy4Life, I'll take 'bout $100K LOL
No Chevy4 Life, the above posts were from Craigslist on the Spacecoast area of Florida. I just posted the above Monte's (rides) to reflect what the Monte's are selling for in the area I reside. I thought (yes, I think > sometimes (lol), a member may be interested or find a Monte they maybe interested in.
I'm sure that you can get a plate filler from GM or find one on the web & have it painted the way you would like...Good Luck & enjoy your new 2 U Monte Carlo
