Hello all Monte Lovers . I have an 05 Monte Carlo . My third first an 01 then 03 now 05 . I love these cars . To broke to buy a great SC 3.8 . He's gold in color so I took beige leather interior from an ss and swapped it into mine . Well me and my ex got into it broke up and she tore some wires under the hood and it would not start . I had planned on a rebuild anyways so then was my chance . So I began to order my timing set and an overhaul kit by the time my budget and parts were here I pulled my motor and then I noticed it would not turn over by hand . After taken heads of I see that its rust sezied now I'm good with engines I've tore down a few and put them back but never dealt with the rust issue from sitting up . So my question is, is there any video or help on an issue like this and any adding HP/Torque mods at this point , as well as what transmission rebuilt I should use . Thanks in advance.
