I finally got to listen to the video. Congrats! Sure, it sounds like what you said, needs a tune, still a work in progress BUT it started! That is an awesome feeling of accomplishment (I felt that was after doing the head gaskets on my 3100 powered Grand Am). Sadly, when I modded my Monte, the stock PCM attempted to seek idle and stalled trying to get there (I had PCMforLESS.com program a "donor" PCM).

As for people hating on it, let them hate. When you are talking performance, power is power. BTW - Some domestics come with Turbo Chargers on them from the factory (Grand National anyone)?

The one thing that happens when you make mods is not everyone likes your view or your direction. As long as you enjoy what you're doing, that it the most important part. Not everyone will like 100% of the choices you make.

Miller is 100% right when he said how he can take a lower cost car, add some mods and blow the doors off a high powered factory car that has a high total cost of ownership.

Let the haters...hate when it is done challage them to the track and see if they are willing to go. I don't care the make or model if you got a 9 to 11 sec daily driver then you have done something.

 

yea we could prolly name quite a few domestics that came turbo'ed some people are ignorant and think they know it all but when its said and done numbers speak for itself

Who cares what anyone else thinks anyway. If your happy with the car the mods you made congratulations. Enjoy it. Turbo charged montes are awesome and yours sounds great. I can't wait to hear it running smoothly Good Luck.

 

thanks everyone, i dont mind what other people think to much other than just getting tired of hearing that is will never be what i say it will be.... but its w.e. they will see soon enough lol.
