After driving to the grocery store yesterday my 03 monte carlo ss began to beep when I put it in drive to leave. The beeping is slightly loud and will not stop until I put the car into park. The previous drive I took in the car, my passenger had a problem with the seat belt buckle clicking down while the seat belt was in keeping the red clicker from coming all the way up. I managed to jam the buckle real hard once I got home which put the red clicker into place and stopped the beeping. But as soon as my passenger put on their seat belt for our next drive the beeping started up again but very quiet. And I also noticed that as soon as I started the car my lights did not come on automatically and continued to stay off until i put the car in drive and rolled forward a couple seconds which im assuming is a different problem but i wanted to see if anyone has any ideas as to what might be causing that. Soon as I started the car the trip after that with no passengers, the beeping back but has become loud again. And my Car light and dash did not come on automatically again until after I drove off a few feet. Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing these issues? Got the vehicle about a month ago and it's given me a new problem almost every week so I wouldn't doubt if the lights and the beeping are a completely separate issue. Does anyone know what might be causing the beeping and how I can stop it, wether that be a permanent or temporary fix like pulling a wire or a fuse or something like that, thanks. UPDATE: greased the red clicker of the seatbelt and the beeping went away and automatic lights and dash light came back for about a week without problems. Beeping and auto headlight/dash issue came back, I tried to grease both seatbelts but nothing fixed my problem. No that I know the alarm and problem with the lights are connected does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it.
