Default Is this normal?

If I don't put my seat belt on and drive off, the seat belt light flashes but there is no audible reminder. I am not complaining a bit, that can get annoying, just wondering if this is normal. I have a 2004 Monte LS

I hear you. I disabled this feature in my Accord, the plug for it is under the driver seat, damn beeping is irritating.

well aren't you super special

I use my seatbelt as well, I noticed this when I had taken a little longer than normal to get it on and had started pulling out of my driveway already, thus the question.
