The wheels on my LTZ stay pretty clean.

OH, I guess I need to drive it more for them to actually get dirty.

all 4 wheels do
Both front and rear wheels are ceramic brake pads

You're a tech right? So I can guess that you know. Why do you think rears get extremely dirty, maybe I don't have ceremics there?

Well I'm not saying they are not ceramic in the rear Solara....only that space reported the fronts are but he never said specifically if the rear are or not.

Does anyone know for sure/have a gm part #?

Still, I wipe off a lot of black dust on my rear brakes every day but the front is virtually clean.

My rear wheels stay as clean as my fronts do......
I cant find if they are or not
But hey since Cain works for GM and he claims he has inside info on almost everything
Maybe he can call his buddy the parts man and find out for us......

As for what Space posted
and what GM said in 06
Longer brake life means rears as much as front
So yes I am still saying that they are ceramic
