ive been contemplating getting rims for mine as well, some nice 19's or 20's with a good chrome lip and nice offset, but i really cant stand the money spent vs look and not to mention encouraging someone to steal it, because mine is a daily driver and occasionally gets parked in not so favorable areas in and around chicago ... im not saying i think my car is all that special or people would want to steal it just for the rims ... but then again my sisters boyfriends cheapo accord got broken into just so they could steal his back pack ( unfortunately had his macbook and textbooks in ) and FACTORY radio

so to save the money and still get the look ive been thinking about painting my rims as after 5 + years of road grime, salt and snow they are not as shiny as they should be and have a little road rash here and there ( roughly plowed streets + curbs = not my fault ) ... but i dont want to paint them, and then hate it ... so heres what im contemplating doing as they are relatively flat and not so ornate rims ...

my only thing is finding the vinyl as inexpensively as possible, because seeing as ive never worked with it before, im sure ill mess up the first one at least once or twice ...

but as far as your car, its looking good so far, just paint the front chrome strip in the grill ... like this -

that horrible red bowtie is gone, before you ask, and you can see the front bumper and its pimples ...

and then the rear end without any badges -

yeah me too, i just cant afford rims ( i cant condone spending the money, sure i could "afford" it )

so im trying to source out some vinyl and try this myself first, before painting them ...

speaking of which, if i were to paint them, what shade/ style of black should i do ?? gloss black with a gloss clear, or flat black with a satin finish ??

i dont think you could go wrong with painting them the same color as your car WA8555 and clear them...i think that would look good and maybe to your bowtie in red or something idk
