Default Part check

I'm looking up the deflector on GM parts online (GM Part # 15794785) and this is not showing up for an 02 MC LS.

Can someone please let me know if this part will work for my car, I'm assuming it would since it is in this forum, but just can't find it cross referenced anywhere.

Thanks for your time.

Went to the CHEVY dealership and got the part, everything worked fine, great initial past, used it and only took about 20 mins.

Thanks -

Sounds good, I also got mine at the dealer. It was nice for a dealer part to not actually cost that much. Mine isn't leaking, but my dad has an '02 LS that WAS leaking, so I bought two. I haven't installed the one on mine yet.

thanks for this thread! I've had my car about 3 weeks and discovered this morning (after torrential rains last night) a puddle on the passenger side floor, leaking from under the dash. My husband was very upset, thinking the windshield needed resealing, but someone told him it might be another cause.

I printed out these instructions and pics to show him. I bet we find this is the problem.

There is a very good chance this is the reason of the leak haha

You never know, you might rip it open and find that you dont' even have a cabin air filter

Just did my 03 SS today, went in easily and fast. Got the part for $3.62, can't beat that.

When I took the cowl apart sure enough, the rubber strip was not attached to the car, it was just laying there. So no doubt, I would have had another leak during the next rain. I have re attached that seal so many times.

Anyway thanks a million for the guy who posted this permanent fix
