You should use high temp paint, i hear krylon fusion is good for on plastic.
be original and good luck on seeing the finished product :P

well i did some masking on this beautiful day, and got my letters/numbers painted in and the engine bay cleaned up a bit

a while ago duane gave us the tip of using vasoline over what we didnt want painted and it really works well
