Mine came with 2 and I don't know what I'm going to do with the other bar - already have a STB for the front of the 05 that I got from Ryan.
I found out that Don Rome is local - that's why it came so fast - the brackets came from Zion IL!

I can sell the other bar if anyones wants it. It took me like a half an hour trying to get all the tape and wrap off of the 2 bars. I think that was one of the worst parts of the install.

The Front and Rear bars are the same.
Great, thanks! hopefully between this and the upgraded sways, I will eliminate a lot of my body roll.

It will eliminate some body roll and tighten up the rear when cornering... I installed mine (rear - already had the front) with the Don Rome brackets and love the ride, not radical but very respectible... Well worth it... Great mod...

Just to clarify, Part # 12498648 is for 2 bars, and part #12456148 is for one. The price for the 2 bar kit is $23.46 while the price for the 1 bar kit is $27.04. So it is cheaper to just get the dual kit.

Also, 98-05 Regal GS and 00-05 Impala LS had the same bars factory (Usually). The 3.4L impala also had a strut bar, but it is shaped differently to get around the Alt I believe. It has some bends in it, but functions the same.

I have a couple 3.4L bars and a straight 3.8L bar here if anyone is close to 13904 and want one cheap. I will get some pictures showing the differences later if people want.

GM parts direct hits you with another $12 shipping on top of that $23 though. I just bought the kit off gm performance motor and paid just under $27 total.

Well I read the entire thread. My 01 had the front. Loved it. Now That I'm parting out the 01 I want the same effect on the 04. Thanks to all of you for the input. Ordered mine today. Front and rear for the 04. I will let you know how it works and will split 50/50 total and shipping with any body who needs one.

I saw this thread and decided to make it the first attempted mod on my 03 SS. I like it, it adds just enough to make the rear end and the body a lot tighter in turns and more fun to drive. It's a neat mod for people who like to take corners at a good clip.
