So I also want to install HID kit for my 2003 Monte Carlo so really it's just a matter of putting the kit into the car and hooking the wires up and everything? I know a lot of people are making it so their car's have the HID on all the time? Is that needed also all I would have to do for the is pull the light stick all the way out and it works the same was as taping over the light senor

I just installed HID's on my 2000 Monte Carlo SS, I only had my lights installed for one week and it blew a fuse to the regular headlights. I was just wondering if anybody has a solution to this problem?

Hey im new to the forum and love it. Im just getting into the HID lighting game and had a couple questions (please forgive me if I ask a question that may have been answered before lol). What is the best or top 3 brands that make HIDs or the one brand everyone supports? And finally, I have a 2000 monte SS, do I go with 9006 in those also?? Thanks in advance for the answers!!

 

i just installed same brand kit. 8000 xentec on my 2000 ss without harness kit has anyone experienced any problems . running HID lights without one? have problem with
harness i bought off ebay.

 

you got the whole hid kit right? if you got everything you'll be fine.

 

yes got whole kit . so far no problems . may send harness back to seller.

 

i tried to install hid relay harness in my 2000 ss only to run into problems . does anyone out there have how to install photos?
